The Flowstate Solution

Flowstate is a B2B SaaS process modelling platform, where anyone can create an account and start designing with our unique data-centric approach.  Key differentiators of Flowstate to existing process design tools include:

  • The only software that can completely and accurately model any processes, regardless of complexity - eliminating the majority of process design failures that plague this discipline.

  • Utilises an intuitive natural language interface, allowing any user to define processes in their own familiar business language, without the need for any manual drawing.

  • Auto-generates business process models & diagrams.  Our propriety algorithms and AI create the digital process model, which is verified, optimised and displayed in beautiful standards-based notation.  And it does all this in real time, saving businesses multiples of time when compared to legacy software.

  • Allows the user to select differing views of their models, to suit different stakeholders, and allowing a single source of truth that can be used by different business functions.

The Flowstate Story

So Ian pioneered a revolutionary approach.  Instead of trying to resolve data integrity issues after a process was designed, Ian flipped the traditional approach and derived the process design directly from the lifecycle of the business data.

This paradigm shift significantly simplified complex processes, thus reducing errors and compliance issues.

What started as a spreadsheet and self-developed python code, has been refined and validated over years of work with major UK financial service organizations, and now is being launched as a SaaS platform that allows anybody to benefit from this approach.

Flowstate on a mission to democratize business process design and empower anyone to be a brilliant business process designer.

Flowstate was born out of the real-life frustrations experienced by founder and CEO Ian Ramsay, while leading major business process redesign and automation projects over the last decade.

Legacy process design tools, with their origins in task-centric manufacturing, struggled to accurately capture the dynamic, data-driven nature of modern service operations - especially critical given that services now constitute 80% of the economy.  The result was error-prone models that led to significant business inefficiencies and costly rework.
